Learn Portuguese quickly with Professora Núbia

Professora Núbia - A black teacher of Brazilian Portuguese smiling in a library

Hi! My name is Núbia, I am a native Carioca (resident of Salvador/BA for at the time) and I have been teaching Brazilian Portuguese to foreigners since 2002. I studed Portuguese at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and did my Post-graduate in Literature at the same University. I've given lessons to students from all over the world, and all age groups. After years of work, I've developed my own method of teaching Portuguese. Language is culture! And I specialize in the understanding of the social and historical contexts of Brazil and their social relations as a path to manage communication with Brazilians. Currently, I'm offering group or individual classes online.  If you're interested, please email or call!

Methodology:

-Understanding Brazilian culture. Information about Brazilian culture and traditions, Brazilian history, Brazilian art, Brazilian business and work culture, and more, are all things that can help you better understand Brazilian culture and better learn the language.

-Focus on Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation. Fluency, pronunciation, and undertanding. The clearer your pronunciation is, the faster your communication. It makes developing your fluency easy.

-Subjective approach. Speaking ONLY Portuguese during lessons, makes learning  easier if you are in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Nine photos of online Portuguese classes with teacher Núbia. Photos of students and the Portuguese teacher during online classes on Skype. The photos are displayed on three lines with three photos on each line.
