Encontré Núbia buscando en Google. ¡Es la mejor profesora de portugués del mundo! Después de unos meses, pude tener una conversación real en portugués. Ella es dinámica y siempre de buen humor y sin duda contribuyó a que mi estancia en Brasil fuera inolvidable. La profesora Nubia tiene que ser la mejor profesora privada de portugués en Río. No puedo exagerar lo buena que es. Ella le enseñó a toda mi familia de 5 miembros, de 10 a 43 años, a hablar portugués muy rápido. Sabía cómo ayudarnos a mi esposa y a mí con nuestros cerebros mayores y cómo conectarnos con nuestros hijos pequeños de una manera muy diferente. Fue realmente impresionante. Ella también es una persona encantadora. Nuestro tiempo con la Profesora Nubia es una de nuestras partes favoritas de nuestro tiempo viviendo en Río de Janeiro.

I took intensive lessons with Nubia before starting work in the Complexo do Alemão in the north of Rio. Not only did Nubia help me gain a really solid understanding of Portuguese basics, we also talked about slang and issues specific to Rio that really helped me with my work. Also, as a language teacher (I teach ESL in the US), I really appreciate her natural, direct teaching method. I feel that I learned quickly and thoroughly, and that she evaluated and dealt with my particular difficulties in Portuguese really well, especially relating to pronunciation and switching over from Spanish.

Núbia is organised, professional and uses a great mix of conversation and grammar to get you reading, writing, listening and speaking like a Carioca. She doesn´t muck around - I went from zero to fluent in 6 months with her (with 4 hours a week)... But she goes at your pace, so I could also take it easy when I preferred. She is reliable, punctual (rare in Brazil!) and a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn´t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. ​

I took class with Núbia for one week, to refresh my portuguese, and to improve some basic mistakes. It was a nice week with intensive classes and in the end I learned a lot. Now I Just Have to use it practically. Besides the language I also learned a lot about brazilian culture and society, while speaking with Núbia.ok private lessons with Nubia to improve my portuguese before delving into my dissertation research in Salvador. Nubia was observant and quickly determined what I needed the most work on. She tailored sessions to strengthen my weaknesses and expand my fluency and vocabulary. She contextualized language lessons with Brazilian culture, which further enhanced my understanding of Brazilian culture and more authentic use of the language. Núbia is a excellent teacher who won't let you get away if you are too shy to speak or lazy during the lessons. She has a lot of energy and never gives up when she's teaching. It you don't pronounce words the correct way she will correct you. If you use the wrong gender when speaking she will correct you. At all times! Which is really good becouse portuguese needs a lot of attention and can be very hard to understand as a beginner. Her method covers all parts of the language including cultural, political, and philosophical discussions which gives you a deeper understanding of Brazil and portuguese!

NúbiaI recommend Núbia's classes to anyone - wthether it be beginner or other wanting to fine tune then grammar. Her ebergy enthusiasm makes the time fly, by her use of different materials - media, music, texts, conversation always makes for a likely lesson. I had never taken private language lessons before. It was great to get to work on what I needed to improve. My only regret is that I did not do my homework every week!

She able to provide me the brazilian culture and teach me method was very efficient an very pleasant. I was very much thanks to this course and I have improved a lot in portuguese.

Núbia's methology - to contextualize the Portuguese language instead of simply translationg grammar - worked very well for me. My understanding of both spoken and written Portuguese improve a lot with four week of semi-privet classes. The fact that Núbia refused to use or let us use other languages during the classes forced me to practise speaking and to concentrate on undersatanding her explenations Portuguese. Núbia puts great emphasis on pronouciation, which I also find important to make yourself understood daily life in Brazil. She also puts the language in the context of Brazilian culture and history. This way, I gost a deeper understanding of not just Brazilian Portuguese, but the inviromment that produced the language.

Para mí fue perfecto recibir al profesor en mi casa. Ella es muy alegre y estoy muy feliz con una profesora que me ayuda a perfeccionar mi pronunciación y no solo estudiar la gramática. Núbia the teacher of Tupiniquim was very nice with us. She is very pleaseble, she's always adapt her play with our constraint and also adpting course in our level and progresse. Núbia use motern methodology lively, with music, cartoons advertising, news reports. It's good mean for learnig quickly. Also Núbia share brasilian's history and culture is a very good help and the best mean to better understand the carioca's way. With Núbia we are always stimulated and encorages to speak even if you make mistakes, she chek about all the things, is very good mean for understanding. I really recommend Tupiniquim Course for learning quickly portuguese to Brazil!

Las clases fueron muy informativas. En solo 4 semanas de clases, creo que podré hablar ampliamente y charlar con la gente. Núbia supo rodearnos y trabajar nuestro placer: vivaz, agradable y serio.

I did a two hour survival course with Tupiniquim. It gave me all the essential Phases I needed to get by in the city and also tought me important cultural info! I feel a lot more confident going around Rio by myself now. The class was fun and Nubia is a great teacher!
